چکیده

Introduction: Analysis of platelet function, acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) and clopidogrel resistance in patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) undergoing percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA), the impact procedure on this phenomenon, connection diabetes, hypertension, smoking. Material methods: The study included 72 patients, a group taking ASA permanent basis whom treatment was implemented after procedure. Patients were also divided according to antiplatelet therapy applied, either double-therapy, or monotherapy. Daily doses 75 mg. Three methods used for evaluation function: IVY bleeding time, cytometric surface antigen (CD62p CD63) expression hemostasis measurement by PFA-200®. Results: In PFA-200 analysis, found 37.8% (64.7% tobacco smokers) before surgery. not before, PTA first dose presented 63%. surgery associated 73.7%. Significant differences CD62p CD63 markers observed. According method, aspirin 40% permanently receiving ASA. Conclusions: PAD who undergo are resistant 40%, smoking is phenomenon. increases CD62P CD63, thus activation, which adequately prevented drugs at Dual reduces activation thrombocytes more than monotherapy

Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty in Patients with Peripheral Arterial Disease Does Not Affect Circulating Monocyte Subpopulations

Monocytes are mononuclear cells characterized by distinct morphology and expression of CD14 and CD16 surface receptors. Classical, quiescent monocytes are positive for CD14 (lipopolysaccharide receptor) but do not express Fc gamma receptor III (CD16). Intermediate monocytes coexpress CD16 and CD14. Nonclassical monocytes with low expression of CD14 represent mature macrophage-like monocytes. Mo...
